About me

I was born in 1979 in Kozani (Greece) where i live and work until now. From an early age i always had a passion for everything related to art and creativity. Photography arrived in my life at the age of fifteen with my first automatic plastic film camera, a present from my dad for my birthday. It was then that i realized that the world is different from a lense glass, more interesting. When i borrowed an old analogue praktica from my aunt in 2001, i found photography more creative, but still my abilities were limited. The real explosion was in 2004 when i attended a one- year seminar about photography with general techniques and photography history. Then i bought my first digital compact camera μ-mini olympus, i found the digital photography in combination with photoshop, more suitable for me. Now i have changed my equipment twice and currently i'm using the Nikon D3 with the 50mm f/1.4, 24-70mm f/2.8G AF-S lenses + Speedlight SB-900. I am mainly working in street, portrait, conceptual and landscape photography. In the future i would like, to combine photography with everyday job.
